How to Make Your Resume Eye-Catching
Categories: Medical Resume Advice, Medical Resume Writing | 2008 | by Administrator | no commentsSome resumes are simple while others are plain boring. Is it possible that a resume can stand out from the rest in the pile? Is there really a way to write a perfectly-written, eye-catching resume? The answer to both questions is yes.
A resumes is a representation of yourself, your achievements, your skills and your values. It is like your sales pitch to the most important client – the hiring manager. To make your resume eye-catching, one of the best things to do is to use keywords. Your resume should be concise but complete, using keywords as marks that can be easily seen during screening.
For instance, if you are a nurse, use the words nurses, nursing profession, nursing industry and other related terms in discussing your work experience and highlighting your education and medical trainings. This way, you get to show who you really are as a medical professional without confusing the hiring manager with irrelevant phrases.
