One of the thriving states to launch a medical career is Florida. Home to a large number of senior citizens living in retirement villages, the state now abounds with various medical institutions that offer excellent health care services.

A good 2.6 percent of households in Florida have one resident who is at least age 65 or older. Projections are strong that this will increase dramatically in the next 10 years, with the baby boomer population approaching retirement.
